Kissing Her 30s Goodbye | A Fun & Flirty 40th Birthday Celebration

If you’re going to kiss your 30s goodbye, you might as well do it with champagne in hand. For my bestie’s 40th, we turned her backyard into a flirty little cocktail party filled with bold red blooms, disco details, a Lip Service bar, and, because the theme demanded it, a kissing booth.

One of my favorite styling details was using drinking glasses as vases. These had tiny lips on them, so they fit the theme perfectly and made the sweetest little cocktail table centerpieces.

The bar was where the theme really came together—its own little moment, with a custom Lip Service menu, layered glassware, fresh florals and a few disco details woven in.
